You Can Still Order a Wreath for Peace

You can still order a Pacem in Terris Wreath for Peace.  These full, lush wreaths are made hand made by farmer Leroy Genthner and his extended family from fragrant balsa grown in the state of Maine.  The wreaths measure 24 inches in diameter and are double-sided.  If you choose, you can hang it on your front door or inside the house, where you can enjoy its beauty and the aroma of fresh greens for weeks/months without shedding.

The front of the wreath will be decorated with:

a)One cluster of pine cones

b)Two beautiful olive wood medallions with a dove and the word, “peace” carved on them that are made by craftpersons on the West Bank through the fair trade program of Village Imports that can be reused as tree ornaments.

c) A burgundy ribbon with the words, "Peace on Earth" in gilded old English script.

Every wreath sold will benefit Pacem in Terris and support activities for peace and social justice in our community, and throughout the world.  The price is $35.00. 

Please make checks payable to Pacem in Terris, and send them to Pacem in Terris, 1304 N. Rodney St., Wilmington, DE l9806-4227.  Please designate the pickup location where you plan to collect your beautiful wreath on Saturday, December 5, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.:

     Southern location:

     Newark United Methodist Church

     69 E. Main Street, Newark

     Northern location:

     St. Paul's United Methodist Church.

     1304 Foulk Road, Wilmington

Please note that the following distribution hours apply at both locations, Saturday, December 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  If you have any questions, or if these hours present a problem for you, please call the Pacem in Terris office at 302-656-2721.
